Principal's Message
The founder of CMI Congregation St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a spiritual leader and
reformer who initiated many important educational endeavors in his time, strongly believed
that education is a source of power and means of empowerment. A seed is well protected
as long as it remains as a seed. It has the possibility to sprout into a tree or to form a forest,
but the process and time is very important. Schools have the sacred duty of teaching many
precious lessons beyond the class rooms. Today information is available everywhere and it
is easily accessible, but formation is available only in a structured form and that structured
form is called school. I strongly believe and hold that moral values like self- discipline,
honesty, compassion, empathy, respect etc. should reign high above academic
achievements. Carmel CMI Public School is fully committed to foster these values
throughout the academic and training process. Our mission aims at building up excellent
character among students, shaping them worthy citizens who live a well-balanced,
disciplined and principled life. So let us make up our mind to go deeper in spirituality, high
in maturity and beyond in materialism. Through unified efforts and open communication,
we can, not only reach our goals, but also build stronger relationships along the way. Thank
you.
